I bought a set of soft pastels today when me and Stephen went to Warwick. Stephen kind of persuaded me to buy them since I've never used pastels before. I'm a big fan of pastel drawings so I thought "heck! why not? The colours are gorgeous and I can use it for my site layout I'm drawing". Anyway, I'm super glad I bought them, they're fab! They do take some time getting used to though since they're thicker and don't have a pointy end like pencils do.

I'm reading a book right now called 'The Looking Glass Wars' and I can't believe I'm actually on chapter 11. Usually I have a real hard time reading books because I read a couple of chapters and forget about it until several months later, by which time I've forgot what happened in the chapters I had read and then have to read it all again and then I do exactly the same as I did in the first place and forget about it again so I just give up. I'm doing well with this book though. It's based on Alice in Wonderland (which I lovelovelove!!) but its got loads of twists in it, for example, Alyss' parents get murdered and she has to live on the other side of the looking glass (the real world) and then has to return years later. I'm not saying anymore cause I really will spoil it for anyone who wants to read it but seriously, it's SO good!
